Ingredients
  

  • Black tea bags: 2
  • Water: 1 cup
  • Milk any variety: 1 cup
  • Espresso shot: 1
  • Ground cinnamon: ½ teaspoon
  • Ground ginger: ¼ teaspoon
  • Cardamom powder: A pinch
  • Cloves: 2
  • Black pepper: A pinch
  • Sugar or honey optional: To taste

Instructions
 

  • Brew The Chai: Start by boiling water. Once boiled, add the black tea bags and let them steep for about 5 minutes. Add the spices – cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, and black pepper. Let the mixture infuse for another 5 minutes.
  • Prepare The Espresso: While the chai is steeping, prepare a shot of espresso. Strong-brewed coffee can be a substitute if you don’t have an espresso machine.
  • Warm And Froth The Milk: In a separate pot, warm the milk. If you prefer, froth the milk to add a creamy, luxurious texture to your latte.
  • Combine And Serve: Remove the tea bags and spices from the chai. Add the espresso shot to the chai, followed by the warm, frothy milk. Stir well. Sweeten with sugar or honey if desired.
  • Garnish: For an extra touch, sprinkle a little cinnamon or nutmeg on top.
