  • Step 1: Prepare The Pineapple Skin: Start by thoroughly washing the pineapple skin to remove any residue. Chop it into small pieces, ensuring you include both the outer skin and a bit of the flesh.
  • Step 2: Boil The Pineapple Skin: In a pot, combine the chopped pineapple skin with 4 cups of water. Add a cinnamon stick and sliced ginger. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20-25 minutes. This allows the flavors to infuse into the liquid.
  • Step 3: Strain And Sweeten: After simmering, strain the liquid to remove the pineapple skin, ginger, and cinnamon stick. If you prefer a sweeter taste, add honey or your sweetener of choice, stirring until it dissolves. Adjust the sweetness according to your preference.
