Ingredients
  

  • 4-6 black or green tea bags depending on your preference for strength
  • 4 cups of water for brewing tea
  • 2 ripe peaches peeled and sliced (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger grated
  • 1/2 to 1 cup of sugar or honey adjust to taste
  • Additional water for the peach and ginger mixture
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Fresh mint leaves and peach slices for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Brew The Tea: Begin by boiling 4 cups of water. Add the tea bags and let them steep for about 3-5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool.
  • Peach And Ginger Mixture: In a saucepan, combine the sliced peaches, grated ginger, and sugar/honey with enough water to cover the ingredients. Bring to a simmer and cook until the peaches soften and the flavors meld together.
  • Combine And Cool: Mix the brewed tea with the peach and ginger mixture. Strain out the solids and let the combined mixture cool. Refrigerate until chilled.
  • Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled tea over, and garnish with a peach slice or a sprig of mint.
